Flowers
The petals fall as snowflakes

Cast upon the waters surface
As shadows on the wind

We look and see the truth
Hidden behind a veil of lies

A perfect cherry blossom
Lost and forgotten, to the shifting sands of time


Little by little
As we walk through life
The winds softly blow
Taking with them the dust on the trail we walk
Little by little

The dust is like a memory
And the harder we focus on whats ahead the harder the winds blow
And the winds carry our precious memories away
Little by little


Radical Dreamer
Those people look at me
They wonder who I am
A cold glare piercing me
They don't know who I am

I look back they turn away
I wonder why they all still say
"What is it that keeps him here...?"
"What reason does he bother for?"

To them I'm nothing at all
Nothing more than a...
Radical Dreamer...
...Forsaken Child

But as the world will soon learn
My dreams and actions tell a tale
My hopes aren't as empty,
As they seem to be

These dreams I have
Held in my heart
Keeping me out of the dark
Shattered hopes fall all away

They think they know who I am
But they really don't know a thing
They don't know me now
And never will

Now I believe
All I have Left
Is the beating in my chest
As the cold winds blow my way

I look out to the darkened skies
As the moonlight hits my eyes
I hear men calling out
"This way... This way..."

Apparently I've done some wrong
And they've cast me here to rot
Locked behind this man-made steel
I feel like I'm all alone

PRECISELY!

There is no rhyme nor reason, just the inane ramblings of a madman.

And now.. to update the first post with a more sensible poem.

You seemed to improve.

Though, I'm not sure what t get from that poem.

Good, nonetheless.

Just an inquiry, but, do you yourself write poetry?

I liked the third one, it was sort of deep in a random sort of way. The other two in my opinion were just okay, but still decent.
