If you have an idea for Pkmn: Amethyst and Opal that doesn't seem to fit anwywhere else, Feel free to post it here.

Is my boat idea still on the table in some form? Also will there be contests or something original or nothing like that at all?

That will help with items and other ideas.

I have an idea. Make it so the "Pkmn: Amethyst and Opal" Section doesn't always say it has new posts, even when it doesn't.

This is about the game not the forum.

Making a whole topic about it is useless.

Two new status effect ideas:

Blind- Caused by some light attacks, attacks miss 50% of the time, how to fix- eye drops (new item) and some berries.

Deaf- Caused by some sound attacks, may cause pokemon to be unable to hear the trainer resulting in a failure to attack, how to fix- Q-tip (new item {may need better name}) and some berries.

Both last anywhere from 3 to 5 turns.

Shouldn't they both just be confused?

It's unneeded. They'd both just end up as confused.

Ex.
Supersonic - Confused

Then how about we change Confusion into something else? Maybe instead of using the attack you tell them to the use the attack to the side of it?

The point is that there's no point to those ailments when all it does is lower a stat.

I have a better idea: let's not do that because it's a stupid modification to something that doesn't need to be changed.

The way I see it, any ailment caused by a light attack should be accuracy loss, like Flash, and any ailment caused by a Sound attack should be Confusion, like with Supersonic. Similar to fire attacks burning and Ice attacks freezing.

Of course, that would be the general ailment. Specific attacks could have different effects.
